Software Licensing Information

We believe in the power of open source, but also recognize the need for proprietary components in certain scenarios. Our licensing model reflects that balance.

Mixed Licensing Model

Our products are released under a combination of open source and proprietary licenses. Each part of the software is clearly marked with the applicable license.

Open Source Components

We use and contribute to various open source technologies, including:

  • Copyleft licenses like the GNU General Public License (GPL)— used for components that promote openness and require modifications to remain open.
  • Permissive licenses such as the MIT License and similar — used where flexibility is essential.

Proprietary Components

Some features, modules, or integrations are proprietary and fall under our custom licensing terms. These components are clearly identified and typically cover premium or enterprise-grade functionality.

License Transparency

We aim to maintain full transparency. License files are included in the respective directories, and each product’s documentation outlines what parts are open vs. proprietary.
